LAJ Al-valgus is the nickname, which means in Arabic "the cardador [wool]," of Husayn b. Mansur, Sufi mystic born in Tur (current Iran), the 857 and died in Baghdad in 922. Despite being Persian birth and family, wrote in Arabic. Like most Sufi mystics of Islam, was accused of divulging the secrets of the mystical path, imprisoned, crucified and skinning. His memory is still venerated. His Diwan, collection of his poetry, is translated into Catalan by Halil Bárcena (fragments Editorial, Barcelona 2010).
